Lord Buddha (563 BC - 483 BC) was an Indian philosopher and founder of Buddhism. BCE, the  King suddhodhan of the republic of Shakya and his wife queen Mahamaya. The prince was born in 563 in Lumbini. This prince was named 'Siddhartha'. On the seventh day after Siddhartha's birth, his mother Mahamaya passed away. Siddhartha, who lost his mother's umbrella, was cared for by his aunt and stepmother Mahaprajapati Gautami. Therefore, Prince Siddhartha is also known as 'Gautam'. Prince Siddhartha Gautama was given all the necessary education. Siddhartha Gautama was associated with the beautiful princess of Yashodhara. He was married in 547 and later had a son named Rahul.

The name 'Buddha' is not a title of knowledge, the word 'Buddha' means 'hugely wise in the sky' and this title has been obtained by Gautam Buddha himself. 'Sambuddha' means an enlightened Buddha who attains intellect and can attain self-aggrandizement; General Chat Chat Lounge Buddhist followers regard Shakyamuni Gautam Buddha as the best Buddha of the present day. Lord Buddha is considered as one of the greatest in the history of the world. Buddha's followers are called Buddhists or English or Buddhists, and Buddhists' Dhammas (religion or philosophy) are called 'Buddhism' or 'Buddhism'. The followers of Lord Buddha fall into two parts. One - tied monks - beggars and the other - Buddhist worshipers - worshipers.

Today there are followers of Lord Buddha in all continents. In Asia, Buddhism is the main religion. About half (49%) of the population of Asia is Buddhist. The population of Buddha followers worldwide is 180 million to 210 million. The highest number of followers in the world after Jesus Christ (2 billion), compared to followers, are benefited by the lord Buddha (1.8 billion). But millions of Hindu pilgrims from India as well as many humanitarian scientists all over the world have adopted Gautam Buddha. The combined population of all these Buddha followers is 2.3 billion. That is, the lord Buddha is the most influential religion founder and philosopher with the highest number of followers in the world (2.3 billion).

In the last 10,000 years, Oxford University in England has made the list of the world's top 100 world-class men who have done great things for the upliftment of the human race; the University placed Buddha in the first place. The Buddha is in the top 100 among the world's 100 Greatest Universe. Acharya Rajneesh (Osho) says of the Buddha, "India or the world has not yet created a great human being who can go after them."

Shakyamuni (second name of Shakya) - This is the second name of Gautama - the main pillar of Buddhism. Considering their biographies, their sermons and the rules of the Vihara they were consecrated, they were compiled by Gautam Buddha after his master's ordination. The various
teachings of Lord Buddha are being passed down from one generation to the next. About 400 years after his appointment, this teaching was first introduced in writing.

Buddhism is described as a very practical religion. It does not at first engage in spiritual speculation about causes; There is no theology, neither worship of any deity nor worship of Buddha. Buddhism keeps a very direct watch on our human condition; nothing is based on wishful thinking. Everything that the Buddha taught was based on his observation of things. Everything that he taught can be verified by our own observation of things.
